Digital Arts Network Australia is a specialist interactive agency. DAN is your single access point to a network of global digital talent and capabilities, all working together towards a common goal: Yours.
We help our clients carve out a strategy for the digital world, using Disruption™.
We create effective, award-winning work by collaborating across different disciplines.
Our footprint is global, with offices and specialists on six continents. None of us is as good as all of us.
Digital is at the heart of everything we do. We work with you to identify your needs, and service accordingly to deliver a full range of digital services: from strategy and creative ideas, to design and realisation.
"DAN's ability to nurture our communities with insightful, strategic thinking, great creative and agile execution, keep Nissan in a consistently strong position when pitted against our competition. They're a fun bunch of people who work hard and deliver with a smile."
"Working with DAN was an absolute pleasure. They instantly added value to our project by helping us attract and engage shoppers with our integrated, digital kiosks. They understood our creative feedback and brand ethos, and hit all of our agreed timelines."
"DAN challenges mediocrity and is determined to push our campaigns to the next level, most recently with our #NZDronie campaign which resulted in global headline coverage. They not only present truly innovative ideas but follow through to ensure they are practically achievable."
“DAN are at the forefront of digital innovation and have an in depth understanding of the latest technologies allowing them to develop and create unique and creative work. They have helped us form our digital brand identity and are helping to establish us a digital leader in our category.”
"DAN has produced technically innovative campaigns for us that push strong creative through Social. The success of our 'Melbourne Twitter Cup' shows just how DAN can use Data to extend big digital ideas. "
"The DAN team have been our go-to agency for a total of three campaigns, each with remarkably tough briefs and processes. In order to deliver, they demonstrate remarkable mental acuity to tackle briefs that would leave most agencies dumbfounded and, further, work with just the right amount of composure and pragmatism to get the job done."
Our leadership team has decades of combined experience in integrated and specialist digital agencies.
Elicia heads up the digital production in DAN Sydney, and has over 10 years of industry experience. She started out studying digital design and her first job was as a web developer for Sizmek. With creative innovation being a key passion, she moved agency-side joining a respected digital creative agency in Sydney as a client-facing producer. Since then, she has produced best-in-class work for clients such as ING Bank, Mastercard, Dare Iced Coffee, Krispy Kreme, Lorna Jane, Kellogg’s, RAC, Johnson & Johnson, Unilever and many more.
Elicia’s production and UX experience covers everything from extensive media buys, all the way through to complex web builds, app development, VR, chat-bots, event booking systems and even smart-hardware. She sees each new challenge as an opportunity to build and deliver innovative work for the agency and for our clients.
Kimberlee is Executive Director Whybin\TBWA Group and Head of DAN Melbourne. She joined the agency in 2011, initially to establish the agency’s CRM offering with a focus on engagement planning. This role was quickly expanded into overseeing the agency’s total digital offering as well as championing the Group's future vision.
Formally trained as a direct marketer, Kimberlee’s strategic approach to digital lies at finding the intersection of insight, data and technology. She is fastidious about isolating touchpoints on a consumer journey and bridging the gap between micro-actions and large integrated bursts.
In a career that has spanned almost two decades, Kimberlee's rounded understanding of the communications process, coupled with her ability to articulate strategic thinking at all levels of management, has seen her develop and execute campaigns across most major categories and brands, including NAB, ANZ, Medibank Private, Tourism Australia, Optus, Qantas Frequent Flyer, Australia Post, Nissan and Mercedes Benz.
Kimberlee previously held GM/MD roles at Clemenger Proximity, Mark and M&C Saatchi.
Russ is the National Creative Director for Digital Arts Network. Russ fell into digital advertising after entering a Dragons’ Den-style UK reality television competition, The E-millionaire Show. His idea to offer discounts to shoppers via mobile phones (beepboutique) was unfortunately rejected by Sir Martin Sorrell on national television.
Fortunately Russ landed himself a job as a web designer and then joined London startup Agency Republic as an interactive Art Director working on O2, LYNX, MTV, BBC NEWS and Egg Money.
In 2007 Russ moved to TEQUILA Sydney to work on global movie websites for New Line Cinema. He’s since helped save dogs for Pedigree, shift cars for Nissan, and make playful interactive experiences for NRMA Insurance. He’s creatively helped the agency unlock achievements at Cannes, One Show Interactive, Spikes Asia, Webby Awards, as well as many local awards.
